WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

Discover Client Experiences…

Ricky Can Build It rescued my kitchen remodel! After a false start and weeks of waiting with "the other guy" - Ricky sent in his experienced crew to save the day. We couldn't be happier with the final product and the customer service we received.

Becky, Fairfax

Working with Ricky was such a positive experience because he does not subcontract out the work. His crew work for him, and every single member of the team was talented, professional, & cared about delivering an excellent product.

Elaine, Fairfax

Ricky really can build it. And he does it with honesty, integrity, and a smile. Ricky was the only contractor to give me a break down of the costs. He also provided guidance when selecting materials and fixtures, helping us save where it mattered.

Shereef, Fairfax

It was the first time I have ever had a contractor provide full transparency into the cost of labor and materials. We finished the project together, it felt like a team effort, and sure enough, it came in on time and on budget.

Jorge, Falls Church

Our Build Process
  • Step 1
    Build Consultation
    • You should know who will be in your home, so during the build consultation, we introduce each of our team members. We also do a walkthrough of your home to determine areas for material storage, create a work path, and discuss family heirloom protection. Finally, we create a plan for interruption of service at times of the least inconvenience to your family.
  • Step 2
    Prepare Space
    • Before construction commences, we prepare your home for demolition and build. This includes installing plastic walls, floor protection mats, and covering all HVAC returns. Protecting your home during construction is our number one priority.
  • Step 3
    Demolition
    • After preparing your space and a thorough review of the demo plan, our team begins demolition. Our plan always includes a strategy for debris removal to minimize the impact on your day-to-day living.
  • Step 4
    Exterior Walls & Roof
    • After building exterior walls and roof structures, we have a Wall Approval Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to do one final review of all interior wall plans and give you peace of mind that the design will meet your final vision.
  • Step 5
    Trade Meetings
    • After the framing of interior walls, we have a series of Trade Meetings to discuss plumbing, electrical, gas, and HVAC systems. This crucial step has a significant impact on the comfort and convenience of your final product.
  • Step 6
    Insulation & Drywall
    • After a final inspection of all trade work, our team begins installing insulation, drywall, and finish your interior walls. At this point, we can discuss any deviations from the original plan for details such as trim, cabinets, backsplash, etc.
  • Step 7
    Finishing Meeting
    • The Finishing Meeting offers homeowners a chance to review and approve all of the fine details that ultimately impact the project's final look. This includes tile, trim, cabinets, vanities, and fixtures.
  • Step 8
    Final Walkthrough
    • At this point, the project will have reached Substantial Completion and is ready for a Final Client Walkthrough. Our team showcases our work and assembles a punch list of any additional changes the client expects prior to wrapping up the project.
  • Step 9
    Close Project
    • At Ricky Can Build It, 100% client satisfaction is our goal. That means we make it our mission to help you realize your vision. Before we close a project, we always make sure our client's expectations are met to the best of our abilities.
